Ray Hadley has taken a tour inside the Silverwater Correctional Complex.

Corrective Services NSW Commissioner Kevin Corcoran guided Ray throughout the tour.

Mr Corcoran told Ray Hadley the staff tries to “prepare” the inmates for life outside of prison once they have served their sentence.

Tasks, such as sanitising the cells and cleaning up blood spills, are dealt out.

“We make sure they are ready to get back into the community,” he said.

“That hygiene job gives them a Cert 3 in hygiene practices at the highest level so they can go out and start their own business.”
