‘Profit before safety’: Father of Hunter Valley bus crash victim furious with Australian bus safety
The father of a Hunter Valley bus crash victim, Adam Bray, is furious with the government over their ‘apathetic response’ to serious road safety recommendations.
Adam Bray appeared before the government with expert, John Gaffney, to call for safer changes to Australian transport after his son’s life was lost in the Hunter Valley bus tragedy earlier this year.
“This…massacre was fully preventable..we are channeling our anger into positive change.”
After meeting with Minister Catherine King to discuss the issue, he said, “We weren’t taken seriously enough.”
“If this massacre is only worth forty minutes of the lead person in the country’s time…that’s a serious issue for all Australians.”
