‘Punt them!’: Scott Morrison’s tough line on foreign criminals
Prime Minister says foreign-born criminals “should go” if they have been convicted of serious crimes.
The Daily Telegraph has revealed the government will introduce legislation that will overhaul the rules that allow criminals who have committed crimes that attract hefty sentences to stay if a judge gives them less than two years in prison.
Scott Morrison told Ben Fordham “the law needs to be fixed”.
“If you’ve committed a crime … we want to make sure that we can punt them.”
