Rail union accuses government of ‘bullsh*t excuse’ as Sydney trains halted
The rail union is blaming the state government for the snap decision to suspend all train services across Sydney.
The RBTU withdrew from negotiations on Sunday afternoon, with the suspension announced in the early hours of Monday morning.
Rail, Tram & Bus Union Secretary Alex Claassens told Ben Fordham they didn’t have any warning of the suspension, with staff showing up for work this morning.
“For the government to use this as a bullsh*t excuse is a new low.
“They are the ones that are doing all of this.”
