Ray Hadley calls on Eels shake-up to help break 36-year drought

Ray Hadley is questioning Parramatta Eels coach Brad Arthur’s ability to break the team’s near 36-year drought.

The Mornings host has detailed the Eels’ woeful track record under Arthur, with a winning record of 52 per cent.

It follows their loss to the Bulldogs yesterday.

“It was an annihilation,” Ray said.

Arthur was the first head coach in 112 seasons to coach a side for seven consecutive years without one preliminary final.

His contract has been extended until the end of 2024.

“The Parramatta fans have put up with this nonsense long enough, they deserve to have a premiership.”
