Ray Hadley has paid tribute to prominent Sydney defamation barrister Sandy Dawson, who has died at the age of 50.

Sandy Dawson SC is being remembered for his wit and sincerity, following his death after a battle with brain cancer.

Ray Hadley says Sandy Dawson was one of the best in the industry, and was a ‘gentle and forensic man.’

“The bloke was a giant of a man in every respect, and not just in the legal profession.

“The world was a much better place with Sandy Dawson in it, and it’s a much poorer place with his passing.”
