Ray Hadley questions ‘strange’ energy double standard

Article image for Ray Hadley questions ‘strange’ energy double standard

Ray Hadley has questioned the consistency of the NSW government’s request that people across the state reduce their power use.

With Vivid in full swing, and countless empty office buildings and construction sites lit up through the night, Ray weighed in on the issue.

“It seems rather incongruous that we’re told on one hand to turn out the lights, turn off the tv, turn off the computer and all the lights are burning elsewhere,” he said.

This comes as NSW Environment Minister Matt Kean defends the government’s decision to keep the lights on at Vivid.
