Ray tees off on controversial NSW law helping paedophiles
Ray Hadley has teed off on a controversial New South Wales law that’s helping some paedophiles reduce their sentencing.
It comes after a Sydney Morning Herald report documented the case of Kshetiz Bhati, who managed to get his prison time reduced on appeal after his sentencing judge failed to consider his “good character”.
Bhatia was sentenced for abusing a six-year-old boy before his sentencing was cut from 10 years to eight.
“You see where I’m confused, you’re a paedophile but somehow you’re a good person?” he said.
