‘Really!?’: Neutral Bay residents push to ban leaf blowers

Residents in Sydney’s inner suburbs want a blanket ban on petrol-powered leaf blowers.
Neutral Bay homeowners are leading a fresh charge for gardeners to be banned from using petrol-guzzling leaf clearing devices and instead make the switch to quieter, electric-powered alternatives.
The proposal has been put forward at a community meeting in Neutral Bay.
Neutral Bay Resident Glen Curyer told Jim Wilson the noise is affecting Sydneysiders working from home.
Great Southland Gardens Owner Simon Cutler said he understands the reasons but at the end of the day, they need the machine for jobs.
