Regional NSW nurse staff in a ‘dire’ situation after local hospital declared ‘internal emergency’
The current predicament that is engulfing regional NSW hospitals has intensified after a senior health official declared an “internal emergency” at Bourke Hospital.
With severe staff shortages, nurses across the state are being called upon to help.
NSW Regional Health Minister Bronnie Taylor told Jim Wilson the issues with staffing is a serious issue.
“We have got some really big challenges in terms of staffing.”
