Residents relieved as plans to increase building heights in Barangaroo declined
There is relief from Millers Point residents after a controversial proposal to increase building heights in parts of Barangaroo has been turned down.
Developers will now need to come up with an alternative to the 20-storey residential tower.
Bernard Kelly from Millers Point Residents Action Group told Jim Wilson the right decision has been made.
“It was going to have a terrible impact on the area, it really was a complete shocker of a plan.”
