‘Rulebook thrown out the window’ in shooting murder of two women
Police are concerned about reprisals after the shooting murders of two women in Sydney’s south-west.
48-year-old mother Lametta Fadlallah and 39-year-old hairdresser Amy Al-Hazzouri, died after their car was sprayed with bullets near a home on Hendy Avenue, Panania on Saturday night.
The mother allegedly had links to organised crime.
NSW Police Force Detective Superintendent Danny Doherty told Ben Fordham the shooting is “unprecedented” with women and children usually not targeted in the criminal underworld.
“We’ve just seen the rulebook completely ignored and thrown out the window.”
