Jim Wilson has slammed Federal Minister for National Recovery and Resilience Bridget McKenzie for declining two interviews amid flood crisis management.

Jim said, “It sounds like the government is scared of fronting up about their management of the floods crisis”.

“Does this federal government care about fronting up and explaining themselves?”

Hawkesbury Businesswoman Emma-Jane Garrow is calling for flood support to go further.

She told Jim Wilson, “our entire community is really suffering.”

Not receiving any funding, “the mental health component of that is huge for many people”.

Jim says the case of Emma-Jane highlights the gaps in funding, which the Minister hasn’t fronted up for.
