The State Government has reportedly back-flipped on funding suburban grounds despite a previous commitment to spend $800 million upgrading local stadiums.

Earlier today, Sports Minister Stuart Ayres admitted there are budget limitations.

The NRL is now again threatening to take the grand final to Queensland.

Cronulla Sharks CEO Dino Mezzatesta told Jim Wilson he didn’t see this coming.

“How can you take away the Grand Final from Sydney!?”
