NRL great Lance Thompson dies at 40
Former Dragons and Sharks forward Lance Thompson has died at the age of 40.
It’s believed a medical episode may have led to his death.
Paramedics were called his Cronulla home last night, but the father of three had already died.
The 40-year-old played for the St. George Dragons, the St. George Illawarra Dragons and the Cronulla Sharks in the 1990s and 2000s before retiring at the end of the 2008 NRL season.
