Peter Dutton wants to know whether the Queensland Premier will continue to take preferences from the Greens after appearing to soften her stance against Adani.

Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has requested Adani Australia CEO Lucas Dow and the independent regulator meet with the Coordinator-General to provide a definitive time frame for the Adani project’s approval.

Mr Dutton tells Ray Hadley the move shows “she’s got all the sincerity of Bill Shorten” after her government continuously delayed the mine.

“Let Annastacia answer this question…. will they be taking preferences from the Greens right across the state at the next election?

“Because the Greens are very clear… they do not support the mining jobs in Queensland.”
