League great Darryl Brohman concedes Blues coach Michael Maguire will have a lot of questions to answer following the Blues’ 38-10 thrashing at the hands of the Maroons on Wednesday night in the series opener.

The Blues were dealt a massive blow early in the game when Joseph Suaalii was sent off for a high shot on Reece Walsh.

With a reshuffle forced into action after Suaalii’s early exit, it meant skipper Jake Trbojevic finished the game with just 29 minutes played, and playmaker Nicho Hynes struggled when he was shifted to the centres.

“The coach has got a bit to answer for… I really mean that,” Brohman said.
