Should the COVID jab be mandatory for NRL players?
ARLC Chairman Peter V’landys is holding firm against making the COVID jab compulsory for NRL players.
Medical Journal of Australia editor Professor Nick Talley told Ben Fordham unvaccinated players will put others at higher risk.
“A more dangerous virus in a sense because it’s not coated with antibodies that probably protect you otherwise.
“When you’re vaccinated you get antibodies and these antibodies coat the virus and to some extent protect it from doing much damage to others if it does get out.”
Venues NSW Chairman Tony Shepherd told Ben Fordham fans will need to be vaccinated until the health advice changes.
