Sidoti, abortion, lockout laws: Premier Berejiklian addresses the big issues facing her government
The Premier has addressed a range of issues facing her government in an in-depth studio interview with Alan Jones.
Allegations levelled at Sports Minister John Sidoti were the first point of discussion before the abortion bill and the lockout laws.
Mr Sidoti is denying claims he didn’t declare his stake in a $70-million property development near the new Rouse Hill metro station.
Labor has referred the Liberal member for Drummoyne to the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) and is calling on the Premier to stand him down.
Gladys Berejiklian has ordered an investigation into the matter, telling Alan Jones she will get to the bottom of the issue.
Ms Berejiklian also updated listeners on the progress of the controversial abortion bill.
Alan asked the questions everybody wants answered, about the status of gender selection abortions and late-term abortions under this new legislation.
The repeal of the lockout laws was also on the agenda, with Premier Berejiklian saying more will be known in the next week or two.
