Stranded Sydney family gets flight home after 2GB pressure
Allianz is now in the process of organising a direct flight home for the stranded Australian citizen who was desperately sick in Samoa.
A statement from Allianz Partners was sent to 2GB confirming they will get the six-year-old girl and the Bowring family home as soon as possible.
“We always consider how we can achieve the right care, at the right time, and in the right place for our patients. This ensures we make timely and appropriate decisions regarding moving people to alternate facilities, or even countries, to ensure they get the appropriate care, given the circumstances”, the statement read.
