Spandau Ballet star Tony Hadley has high praise for King Charles III, stating he will be a “great king”.

King Charles acceded to the throne on 8 September 2022 upon the death of his mother, Elizabeth II.

The music star was full of compliments for the new king when speaking to Deborah Knight on Afternoons.

“In his speech, you could see his emotion, he’s got a big heart … he’s quite an inspiring chap, a good guy,” he said.

“He really cares about the environment and rightly so because if we don’t get ourselves together we’re not going to have much to leave to our kids.”
