Sports bettor fears she’s been SCAMMED by online sports betting site
Marley’s House of Sport (MHS), a sports betting syndicate overseen by local poker identity Marley Wynter, allegedly promised returns of 400 per cent.
Afternoons listener and alleged victim of the scam, Jodie Farrington, claims said she lost $50,000 to MHS in January.
“I’ve taken that money out of my mortgage, it was a mistake on my part,” Jodie told Deborah Knight.
Craig Abernethy was recommended to the site through friends, but saw too many red flags to invest.
“Bookmakers will not allow you to consistently win money because that means they’re losing money,” said Craig.
