Liverpool Council is wanting to undergo a name change which could cost rate-payers up to $350,000.
The council want its name to be changed to the “City of Liverpool Council”.
Liverpool Mayor Ned Mannoun told Chris O’Keefe the change is a good investment.
“If the staff want to do it go for it… it was recommended by the consultants they have,” said the Mayor.
