Sydney has a cockroach crisis

A run of warm and humid weather has resulted in an explosion of the number of cockroaches on our streets, homes and restaurants.
Pest control countries across the state say business has never been better.
Ben Fordham speaks with Dr Tanya Latty, Research Fellow in Entomology at Sydney University.
“It’s perfect conditions for cockroaches.
“When it’s humid, they’re able to survive a lot better.
“There’s 450 different types of cockroaches in Australia, some are absolutely beautiful.”
