The NSW Chief Scientist has issued a dire message, warning Sydney is completely unprepared for a major blackout incident.
Mary O’Kane has informed the state government illegal human intervention or dramatic weather could plunge the city into darkness for several days, jeopardising our hospital system, fuel and even water supplies.

“Some have very good ones, some need to better ones. The private sector needs to be very engaged.”
