Jim Wilson has revealed that 2GB Drive’s ongoing fight to save an elderly couple being dudded by compulsory land acquisition has unfortunately failed.

“The greedy fat cat bureaucrats at Sydney Water have dealt an elderly couple in our southwest a savage and cruel blow over the family home they’ve lived in for 40 years,” Jim said.

Judy and David Kean’s property is being acquired by Sydney Water to build a sewage plant.

The couple has been offered more than $1m under the independent valuations.

Judy Kean told Jim Wilson she is devastated as they now have nowhere to go.
