Liam Costello, a 20-year-old from West Pennant Hills in Sydney, has become a four-time world champion in Irish dancing and got to meet the man who revolutionised the form.

The World Irish Dance Championships, which this year took place in Montreal, Canada bring together competitors from all over the world and this year Liam even got to perform for the legend himself Michael Flatley.

He described the experience of performing for the footwork virtuoso as “pretty special”.

Liam has now won the championship four times in different age groups.
