Generous 2GB listeners have banded together behind a 15-year-old after his bike was stolen from Gunnamatta Bay in the Shire.

Listener Dave wrote to Ben Fordham Live about his son Lucas’ struggle.

He had been working away at a local cafe to save up money for the $1,800 bike.

2GB listeners have called in and donated $5000 to replace the bikes stolen from Lucas and his friends.
