72-year-old Daryl has come out of retirement to take up a job at McDonalds in Wallsend near Newcastle.
He only lasted one day in retirement after working in the disability sector.
“I wasn’t just going to sit back, I was going to go out and find something that I could actually apply myself to,” Daryl told Chris O’Keefe.
