The Australian Bureau of Statistics is asking the public what information should be included in the five-yearly Census of Population and Housing.

A media release from the ABS has come out today calling for submissions on what questions should be asked.

The Director of the 2026 Census Content Georgia Chapman told Deborah Knight this is an opportunity for people to have a say.

“We want to ask everyone what they see as Australia’s most important needs,” Chapman said.
