While he wasn’t rewarded with a wicket, he did effect a sensational run-out to dismiss Vince on 83.
Lyon told Macquarie Cricket he just “closed my eyes and threw it!”

England is 4/196 after the first day of the Ashes.
Pat Cummins took two wickets for the Aussies, while James Vince (83) and Mark Stoneman (53) were the pick of the batsmen.
Mike Hussey said he was impressed by England’s unheralded batsmen.
“I thought England really needed runs from Root and Cook,” he said.
“They are the senior players who needed to stand up, and both of them didn’t score.
“Stoneman, Vince, Malan (28*) showed today they can handle the pressure of an Ashes series.”
