The federal Liberal Party to take control of NSW division for the next 10 months in ‘spectacular takeover’

The federal Liberal Party has taken control of the New South Wales’ division of the party for ten months following their council debacle.
But the decision hasn’t been popular with the moderate faction of the party with one member telling The Sydney Morning Herald state political editor Alexandra Smith, Peter Dutton wants the NSW branch to be “old, white and right”.
“This [takeover] really undermines them, which many in that faction believe Dutton set out to do,” she told Chris O’Keefe.
