The fight against brain cancer continues
This week sees a plethora of awareness and fund raising for brain cancer research as the Beanies for Brain Cancer NRL round continues.
The Mark Hughes Foundation Brain Cancer Biobank manager Cassandra Griffin joined Mark Levy to detail how recent funding is helping the institute fight the disease.
“The $25 million investment … that’s game changing,” she said.
“It brings some of the best brain cancer researchers and clinicians under the one team … to try and accelerate research and find something faster that’s going to change the lives of people with brain cancer.”
