The inspiring story of Pass It On Clothing

Article image for The inspiring story of Pass It On Clothing

John Stanley chats to Chris Vagg the founder of Pass it on Clothing & Co.

An incredible social enterprise born from a house move and clothing cull.

After research, Chris realised the best clothes are often kept and sold in charity stores, many are cut up into rags or sent overseas for resale.

This realisation sparked an idea for Chris to start taking unwanted clothing items directly to Sydney’s homeless and disadvantaged by setting up a free clothes service.

Chris explains how his foundation has grown since it began in 2016 and how it has given homeless people a new look at life.

He goes onto explain how giving people something as simple as a choice can empower them and put them on the right path to long term development..

Since establishing Pass it on Clothing & Co, his perspective on homelessness has changed and shares how he looks to grow the enterprise to help those in need for long term success.

“All I want you to do is engage with these people, they are all human beings”, Chris says.
