‘The PM is not for changing’: Peter Dutton says NO to the Voice
The Federal Opposition leader says the party can’t support the Indigenous Voice to Parliament because it’s too Canberra-centric.
The Liberals will join the Nationals in opposing The Voice, believing it will change the system of government as we know it .. but won’t improve outcomes for First Nations Australians.
Peter Dutton argues a local and regional advisory body would be better.
He’s told Ben Fordham, he believes that’s in the best interest of the country.
“People are worried that it’s going to be an extra bureaucracy.”
