The problems continue: Emerald Ferry doors slam on passenger’s fingers
A passenger has nearly lost their fingers on board an Emerald Class Ferry after a door slammed due to it not being weighted properly.
Concerns have been raised regarding the emergency exit doors and Jim isn’t impressed.
“The price you have to pay for using Sydney’s public transport should not be at the expense of your fingers.”
Adding on, the doors were then locked as a precaution due to the rough seas and high winds
“Is it just me, or is a locked emergency exit door a useless emergency exit door and how can a ferry even operate if the emergency exit door is locked?” Jim said.
Chief Operations Officer for Transport NSW Howard Collins told Jim Wilson the constant problem isn’t “good enough”.
