Aussie kids are being given the opportunity to get involved in a space challenge!

The Australian Virtual Astronaut Challenge is open for children all around the country to design a solution to produce food to support life on the moon.

The challenge is free for all students in years 5-10.

Fizzics Education Founder Ben Newsome told Deborah Knight it’s a great initiative.

“We’ve had people looking at how they could use mushrooms to make a habitat.

“We had people making their own robots that could move food from one spot to another without radiation issues.”
