The ‘ridiculous’ decisions in Anthony Albanese’s ministry
Ben Fordham has raised concern about some of Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s decisions after he revealed his first full ministry last night.
Ben believes there are a “few controversial decisions” that have come out of the announcement.
The Minister for Veteran Affairs is now sitting outside of the cabinet.
“When you consider there are 60,000 veterans waiting in a queue for their claims to be processed, I think that’s a dud decision,” Ben said.
Anthony Albanese also announced Matt Thistlethwaite will become the Assistant Minister for the Republic.
“He’ll be working towards Australia moving away from the Commonwealth, but we are still part of the Commonwealth!”
University of Queensland Monarchists League’s Jack Barton told Ben Fordham the creation of that role doesn’t make sense.
“I think it’s absolutely ridiculous, it’s come at the worst possible time.”
