One of Tasmania’s most high-profile murderers is determined to have her guilty verdict overturned as she leaves prison.

Susan Neill-Fraser, 68, was found guilty of murdering her partner of 18 years, Bob Chappell, on Australia Day in 2009.

Police never found Mr Chappell’s body and Neill-Fraser has maintained her innocence.

She was sentenced to 26 years in prison with a non-parole period of 18 years but after an appeal that was reduced to 23 years with a non-parole of 13 years.

Leading psychologist Eve Ash is behind a podcast investigating the case.

She told Ben Fordham she is confident Neill-Fraser didn’t kill her partner.

“It was a completely speculated case.”
