Eager customers have lined up at the Sydney Fish Market in the early hours of Good Friday, their busiest trading day of the year.

A few hundred tonnes of seafood, comprising of 90 different species, are expected to be sold.

The Fish Market’s customer experience coordinator Alex Stollznow told Chris Smith some customers arrived at 3am despite the 5am opening time.

“People are spending about five minutes in a show because they’re moving really quickly.”
