There is a bird bonanza taking over the Murray River!
Tony Sharley, Founder of Murray River Trails, is offering guided walks around the Murray River to see the beautiful bird species.
The triple La Nina’s left a trail of destruction, but Tony believes there is “no life in a river system unless we have floods”.
“The population has peaked and we will see it stay reasonably high until we come into the next drought cycle,” Tony told Michael McLaren.
The Murray River Trails’s four-day guided experience will take small groups of 10 people along the river to see the “bush and water birds”.
