Mark Levy admits he can’t fault Daly Cherry-Evans for questioning referee Ashley Klein on whether Cameron Murray should’ve been sent off after receiving just a sin bin for running off the bench to join a melee during the first half of the Origin decider.

“There’s merit in what Daly Cherry-Evans is saying to the referee,” he said.

“I once ran around as a junior rugby league referee, and I was always told if anyone joined from the bench, it’s an automatic send-off.”
