‘There’s no limits to the PC Nazis’-Transgender fight at New York Times
An internal battle has erupted amongst journalists over their coverage of transgender issues.
The editor of The New York Times, Joe Kahn, is facing a backlash from some staff and contributors after he asked employees to stop publicly attacking other journalists at the newspaper
Some colleagues signed a protest letter about the paper’s recent coverage of medical care for transgender children, alleging that it showed bias and was being used to justify “new, punitive legislation” in some states.
US Correspondent Harley Carnes told Ben Fordham, “They’re saying you can’t say that transpeople compete unfairly against women”.
