‘They need to live with their decision’: Dutton warns against returning IS families
Federal opposition leader Peter Dutton says there’s a real risk to the public in bringing back Australian women and children from Syria.
Women and children brought back from detention camps in Syria are likely to be detained upon arrival in Australia, on terrorism control orders.
Peter Dutton told Ray he doesn’t believe the individuals should be allowed to come back to Australia.
“I think the circumstances of the kids is terrible, but my concern is the Australian people who would suffer if a terrorist attack would occur upon them returning to the country.
“The decision they made is the decision they need to live with.”
