Former NRL player and film director, Jason Stevens, is raising funds to make a feature film about Z Unit, a special forces unit formed during the Second World War.

Stevens became good friends with a sole survivor of the Z Special operations, Mick Dennis, whose passing inspired Stevens’ creativity.

“His story of how he escaped is amazing, you couldn’t write a better,” Stevens told Ben Fordham.

Jason Stevens is seeking funds to make this feature film that will shed light on all of the brave soldiers who risked their lives, you can donate here.
