‘They’ve ripped the guts out’: Palaszczuk Government to blame for infrastructure crisis
The State Opposition has attacked the Palaszczuk Government’s budget.
The budget’s key priority is infrastructure, with more than $45 billion dollars to be spent on capital works over the next four years.
However, state debt is set to hit $83 billion over the same period.
Opposition Leader Deb Frecklington has slammed the announcement, saying the government is fixing a problem of its own making.
“They’ve ripped the guts out, $9 billion less in infrastructure over the last three years.
“If there is an infrastructure crisis in Queensland, it’s been put there by the Palaszczuk Government.”
