Brendan Kelly is a 21-year-old bull-rider who will be holding on for dear life in the Easter Show rodeo tonight and tomorrow. 

Brendan told Chris O’Keefe that he’s “been around rodeo his whole life”.

“I was eight years old when I first got on a poddy calf at a rodeo,” said Brendan.

Six riders get paired with six different bulls through a computer-generated draw, and Brendan has ridden his chosen bull twice before.

“It’s the same pen of bulls every weekend, you sort of know what each of them are like,” he said.
