World Vision Australia says Australians can contribute to the aid given to millions of Ukrainians fleeing the war-torn country.

More than 630 civilians have died since Russia launched its assault on Ukraine almost a month ago.

World Vision Australia CEO Daniel Wordsworth is on the border of Ukraine and Romania and told Ben Fordham about more than 95,000 people are crossing the border a day.

“We can resupply hospitals in Ukraine, we can look after refugees, we can actually do something about this and I hope Australians know that.

“This is not a time to feel helpless, this is a time to have solidarity with the people of Ukraine.”
