‘This is lunacy’: Injuries after crowd swarms Sydney street for YouTubers
A teenager has been taken to hospital and a security guard injured during chaotic scenes surrounding two YouTube stars in north Sydney this morning.
The 14-year-old boy, who was among thousands of fans on Denison Street, suffered serious head injuries after falling backwards down a set of stairs.
Ray Hadley was critical of the rowdy crowd, which had gathered outside Nine Entertainment headquarters to catch a glimpse of Logan Paul and KSI.

A security guard monitoring the scenes was thrown to the ground and caught behind a cement barrier when a promise of free samples of the duo’s energy drink, Prime, caused a surge.
“You can’t believe that many people have that much spare time on their hands that they can gather in Denison Street … to get a free bottle of energy drink,” Ray said.
“They weren’t there to win Lotto, they were going to get a free bottle or pack of energy drink.”
The duo arrived in Sydney after Paul’s meet-and-greet appearance at a Perth Woolworths was cancelled due to “safety concerns”.

“This is lunacy,” Ray continued. “Karl, what are you doing among all this, mate?
“I mean, fair dinkum, now we’ve got a kid transported to hospital, we’ve got a security guard in strife, also injured.
“Has the world gone completely mad, or I’ve just gone mad? It will take smarter minds than mine to figure this one out.”
