‘This policy is farce’: Chris O’Keefe exposes NSW Labor’s new toll plan
Following the NSW Labor pledging a $60 weekly toll cap for regular motorists if elected, Chris O’Keefe has a lot to say about this new policy.
“I like the $ 60-a-week cap for drivers. It’s sensible, easy to understand,” Chris said.
Today Labor announced to make it cheaper for ‘truckies’ and ‘tradies’.
With truck drivers and tradies being charged roughly three times that of regular motorists when driving on toll roads, Chris Minns says he will reduce it to two times less.
Chris O’Keefe said that the catch is that “the toll discount [only] applies to M5 East and M8 users,” and the discount only applies to a total of 10 trips a week.
“Does Chris Minns think tradies only use the M5 and M8?
“This policy is a farce.”

“I think if Chris Minns was being genuine about helping trucks he’d actually apply this policy across the board,” Natalie Ward said.
